Wow!!! Amazing weekend with Karen Russell!!!!
Friday 6pm-10pm:
I took a class at my LSS..... well it's not that local since I have to drive 1.5 hours each direction. The class was taugh by the amazingly talented Karen Russell, featuring her techniques on interactive scrapbooking. Yes it's 'The' Karen Russell with Creative Imaginations!!!! She is just the sweetest little thing you'll ever meet!!!! Her class totally rocked!!!
The next day she was teaching a 7 hour photography class that I desperately wanted to take.....and she was sweet enough to squeeze me in!! I was psyched to say the least!!!
Ok so Friday night after the scrappy class, I have to go to the airport to pick up my son who's flying in from the east coast. I get there at 11:30pm, only to discover his flight is delayed by several hours. By the time we finally got home, the sun was almost ready to rise.
Saturday 6:30am:
Jazzed & tired, I leave the house to attend Karen's 7 hour photography class!!! (and it's snowing!) The class is intense & exhilarating!! It runs longer than expected, but that's cool, because I didn't want it to end. She taught us so much, and I felt like a sponge! Karen is a wonderful teacher.......patient & full of passion!!! And a huge inspiration to me!!!!
This weekend was exciting & exhausting and most definitely a life changing experience!! Karen...if you read this......you Rock girly!!!!!!
